It allows you to repair damaged media files in all the most popular formats. Despite the program's name, it can repair not only video files, but also audio and even image files. All Video Fixer supports batch repair, which allows you to fix several damaged files at once. The media formats this program supports are, among others, AVI, MPEG, MP4, 3GP, FLV, WMV, MOV, MP3, JPG, and BMP.
The program's user interface is really intuitive and easy to use. You can add one or more source video, audio or image files to create a repair list. You can also delete from it any file or group of files that you added by mistake. In the preferences window, you can select the task the program will perform whenever it finds an error in your damaged media files - fix it, remove it or ignore it. When fixing a file, you can choose among various fix modes, as well as a fill color for the damaged frames. However, the various fix modes provided are simply labeled “Mode 1”, “Mode 2”, which do not help when making your pick. You can always let the program choose the most appropriate action for you. You can set a different configuration for video, audio, and image files. Besides that, you can tell the program to create a new, repaired media file, and select an output directory to save it.
Finally, and once the configuration settings and the repair list are ready, you can start the process with a simple click. Now you can relax and enjoy seeing how your media files get repaired.
